Wilbur Furr of Concord, North Carolina US 38th Division Grouping : Japanese Flag, Tiger Senninbari (Thousand Stitch Belt) and Photos taken from the soldier he killed in action July 12, 1945 as noted on the reverse of the Japanese soldier’s photo; photo of Furr was taken in front of the house where the action took place…Photos, flag and Sennibari were removed from the Japanese soldier’s person and retained by Mr. Furr as war souvenirs and he had friends sign the flag and wrote battles he was in.
