WWII US Marine Corps Paramarines H&R Model 55 Reising Submachinegun

WWII US Marine Corps Paramarines H&R Model 55 .45 ACP Reising Submachinegun with USMC Frog Skin camouflage jump case.

The M55 Reising SMG was designed for the USMC airborne troops, the Paramarines, and was intended to be a replacement for the M50 Reising SMG. The weapon had several serious issues, unfortunately, including its wire butt stock that was not sturdy enough for field use. The jump case was used to carry the weapon strapped to the top of the reserve parachute.
